Mill Village Bridge

It was a good meeting and we are hopeful that the bridge replacement will be moved to the 2012-13 construction season (currently 2013-14 season). There was talk about the guard rail near the bridge and the condition of West Indian Road, a beaver dam on the Salem Cross Roads and the need for a ‘bump’ sign heading to the bridge. The group was told that safety of the bridge is monitored regularly by the engineers. Folks came away with some good information and looking forward to some action and information on the time table. In addition there will be a bailey bridge in place during construction, which will be a big help.
