Race to the Sea Comes to Shubie

This Saturday, May 15th, more than 50 participants will race from under the
Elmsdale bridge to our beautiful village. Our new dock will be in place
just in time for this inaugural event. The race has all the classes you
would want - expert, family, recreation. And the paddling is with the tide.
Canoe on our river or enjoy a picnic lunch on our community grounds.
Shubenacadie is the place to be this Saturday.
