Summertime

It’s been a great break so far. Council recesses for the month of August and I’ve taken vacation from the Post Office. Quiet family time this week. Earlier in the summer we had vandalism in the village. Just yesterday the RCMP told me that no one has been arrested. There were no witnesses to the actual damage being done and without that, they are unable to press charges. Some residents said there is a group of young people hanging out and having a bon fire on private property. The RCMP are aware of the group and have not caught them doing anything illegal. The RCMP mentioned, again, how Citizens on Patrol could be a big asset to our community. They will be posting some information on this site which, I hope, will inspire interest in those whom have time. Back to summer!
