Fri Jul 23, 9:02 AM

Next week is the start of the Superbike Double Header races with the Regional Races - July 30-Aug. 1.  Race fans will be arriving from all over the region and as far away as Quebec.

The following week August 5-8  at Atlantic Motorsport Park here in Shubenacadie will host the final National Race with race teams coming in from all across the country.  We are expecting about 12,000 people in and around town over a 10 day period.  We encourage all of Shubenacadie to through out the Welcome mat and be ready to provide directions, services and at least a wave and smile.

Tin Shop Museam & Craft Shop Host Council

Wed Jul 21, 9:12 AM

There was a reception for local politicians at the Craft Shop at the Museum yesterday Tuesday.  This is an annual event to remind our local politicians about this facility and all that is going on in and around it.

The Museum is welcoming guests from across the country and also the US.  People enjoy learning a little bit of Shubenacadies history and especially about Watson Smith's operation.  The fact that Shubie was known as Canada's Milk Can Capital is something special.

The Craft Shop has a wide assortment of hand crafts from local artisans.  It is manned by many of the artists themselves.  Drop in and see all the interesting things they have...
